A biostimulant is a substance applied to a plant or its soil to improve nutrient uptake, nutrient-use efficiency and tolerance to stress. It does not supply nutrients the way a fertiliser does — it improves what the plant is able to do with the nutrients already available to it.

No. It changes how efficiently fertiliser is used, which is why growers commonly need less of it. How much less is established on your own field during the trial block — anyone quoting you a percentage before seeing your soil is guessing.

A biostimulant. It improves the plant's capacity to take up and use nutrients. It is not a substitute for a nutrition programme, though it commonly reduces how much of one is required.

In most cases, yes. Run a jar test first — compatibility depends on what else is in your tank.

Root and vigour responses typically appear within the first cycle. Soil biological recovery is a multi-season outcome and should be judged across seasons, not weeks.
